Director
Bill is currently working as an expert consultant within the international technical and vocational education and training (TVET) sector building on over 25 years of experience in that sector. From initially working as a trainer and then senior manager in technical institutes, Bill subsequently worked for many years for UK based qualification awarding organisations as well as, for six years, as an associate inspector within the English vocational education inspection system. He was a member of a number of inspection teams where he focused on inspecting the quality of teaching and learning and student achievement.
With extensive experience of developing both qualifications and assessments for the regulated qualifications sector in the UK, Bill has consulted extensively on the development of vocational qualifications and assessments, managing major projects in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. He has also advised on workforce development in the TVET sector in the UK and in international markets with a particular focus on the introduction of new policies and their impact on ways of working.
Bill has advised on the development of TVET strategy and the development of quality assurance processes in the UAE, Hong Kong, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
